As of September 1, 2007, smoking in public spaces is banned according to a law passed by the Legislative Council. This includes bars, restaurants, nightclubs, airports, offices and arenas, and within 50 feet of any public area. Keep this in mind as you enjoy your stay in the British Virgin Islands!

Gorda Peak is the highest point on Virgin Gorda and is one of the highest in the Virgin Islands exceeded only by mountains on Tortola and St. Thomas. The 265 acres of dry forest was donated to the National Parks Trust by renowned Philanthropist Lawrence Rockefeller in 1974 to be preserved.

The Baths is one of the most well known and popular landmarks to visit in the British Virgin Islands. Gigantic granite boulders and half submerged rocks line the southern seashore of Virgin Gorda, creating grottos, tunnels, and arches - a wonderful place to swim, snorkel, and explore.

BVI Festival commemorates emancipation with a series of activities beginning in July that culminate in the BVI Festival's August Monday festival parade. The heart of the action is Road Town, with more events taking place in East End-Long Look and other areas, that stretch the celebration into the next weekend. ON VIRGIN GORDA, Easter Festival events take place on the 4 days before Lent (Spanish Town area).

Information about specific Caribbean villa rentals including the availability of all Caribbean villas listed on this website is subject to change at any time. Quotes for Caribbean villas and Caribbean villa rentals are provided as a courtesy only and are subject to our revision. The weekly and nightly Caribbean villa rental rates listed do not include GOVERNMENT HOTEL TAX (8% for U.S. Virgin Islands villas including St. Thomas villas, St. John villas and St. Croix villas; 7% for British Virgin Islands villas including Anegada villas, Little Thatch Island villas, Tortola villas and Virgin Gorda villas, and 8% for Grenada villas).

A minimum 7-night villa rental is required during HIGH SEASON and THANKSGIVING and 5 nights during LOW SEASON for most Caribbean villas. A 10-14 night minimum villa rental is required during the Xmas/New Year's Holiday Seasons depending on the Caribbean villa and island.
