Nancy's Description of Into The Mystic
Completely remodeled in late 2008, this beautifully-finished jewel box of a villa offers two charming levels overlooking yachts riding at anchor in azure Coral Bay and green British Virgin Islands beyond. A few steps from the driveway take you right inside Into The Mystic's main level. The main level comprises a very well-equipped kitchen with handsome granite counters and sink, a powder room, a living area featuring a dining table for four and a large sink-into sofa for TV and movie watching. In an adjoining room there's a counter with a Dell computer and a printer which shares space with the washer and dryer. Conveniently outside the kitchen door is a covered patio with a large stainless steel gas grill. Inside the living area, two walls have glass slider doors; in front, these doors open to a spacious covered verandah which is furnished with a cushioned sofa and chaises, and a large alfresco dining table for six. This verandah looks out to a spectacular panorama of Coral Bay and beyond to Tortola and Virgin Gorda. Just beyond the media area is another covered verandah with a hammock and the beautiful master suite, where you'll find a carved four-poster bed, TV, and a sumptuous master bath with two his-and-hers vessel sinks and a tiled shower. Outside, down a few stairs on a middle level, is the swimming pool which looks out over that spectacular vista. The pool is set in a curved deck and bordered by chaise lounges and tropical landscaping. More exterior stairs take you down to Into The Mystic's lower level, which is fronted by its own scenic deck furnished with chaise lounges, a table with upholstered chairs, and a hot tub just outside the bedroom. The lower level's living area features a large couch which may be converted into a full sofabed for a fifth guest, TV, a DVD/CD player and a kitchenette with an icemaker, microwave, small appliances and a mini-fridge. Just outside the kitchen is an arched native stone alcove with a small gas grill. This lower level is perfect for a couple, grandparents or a nanny with a small child. The villa's two levels provide excellent privacy for couples traveling together. Into The Mystic, which was just featured on HGTV, is completely air-conditioned throughout, and offers all the expected top amenities - and more. Its design and decor, which include original paintings by the owner, are artfully executed. This compact two-bedroom deluxe villa has it all, from St. John-style stonework to the decks, perfectly situated to catch island tradewinds and inspiring ocean views. And the road winding up to Into The Mystic's hillside location is completely paved - another plus. You really haven't lived until you've seen the moon rising over the islands, scattering silver moonbeams across the sea. As the Van Morrison song's lyrics say, "Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic." Very highly recommended!

Rental Notes
*Because of the two separated levels at Into the Mystic, children under 12 years are not allowed UNLESS the younger child sleeps in the lower-level living area's sofabed while 1-2 adults occupy the lower-level's queen bedroom suite next door.
1 to 2 guests will have use of the main level of Into The Mystic only; the lower level will be available if your party is 3, 4 or 5 persons. The 5th guest sleeps on the full sofabed in the lower level's living area.
