Constructed of stone and offering three levels (two levels have swimming pools overlooking blue vistas of Savannah Bay, Little Dix Bay and Long Bay), Sugar Mill's middle floor comprises Sugar Mill's Garden Suite, a compact and charming one-bedroom featuring a pleasing floorplan, central air-conditioning, a king bed dressed in fine linens and a wonderfully-equipped gourmet kitchen. Through curtained french doors is the Garden Level's stunning blue pool, inlaid with a leaping tile dolphin and set in a flagstone terrace looking out to the sea, blue skies and green islands in the distance.

The Garden Level is a creative space with curved walls; cool slate floors add richness, lighting is well done inside and out, and interesting decorative items collected on Caribbean travels add a lighthearted flair to the interior. Sugar Mill Garden Suite's full kitchen is a wonder with its wide array of chef's tools and cookware for those who are inclined to try their culinary skills on holiday (and with advance notice, your villa can conveniently be provisioned with your list of groceries for the day you arrival, so you can start your relaxation at Sugar Mill the moment you walk in the door - please inquire).

Accessed via interior stairs, Sugar Mill's lower level is all yours exclusively to enjoy when you rent Sugar Mill Garden Suite. This bonus air-conditioned entertainment/family level offers a 42-inch flat-screen satellite TV with DVD player, a second gourmet kitchen, a beautiful dining area for up to 8 persons, a sofabed, a second full bath with a jacuzzi bathtub, and laundry facilities.

Outside, around the curve of the Sugar Mill, is a flagstone terrace in the garden with a shaded pavilion with dining table, more cushioned armchairs, and a big gas grill for outdoor island living - also exclusively yours to use as a Sugar Mill Garden Suite guest. Behind the Sugar Mill for your exploration are 19th-century historic stone ruins of Nail Bay's old sugar plantation.
