Nancy's Description of Villa Jamie So striking in its cliffside oceanfront location in a quiet cul-de-sac, and in its spacious floorplan, Villa Jamie is one of our most popular four-star villas. Fully air-conditioned with four bedroom suites and a media room/home office on two levels, there's plenty of room for a family or friends traveling together. A comfortable old-fashioned southern-style front porch with rocking chairs (great for watching sunsets) welcomes you to Villa Jamie. Inside, on the main level, is a large Great Room with an inviting sectional sofa for gathering to watch a movie or conversation, and through archways, an elegant dining area. Sliding glass doors open to cooling tradewinds and to the oceanfront deck perched dramatically atop a cliff, with an infinity-edge pool and sweeping views of the blue sea and the British islands in the distance. Adjoining is the gourmet kitchen, beautifully and generously equipped with lots of glassware, dishware, Cuisinart stainless steel cookware, a wine cooler, a 5-burner ceramic cooktop in the center island, all adorned with granite countertops and equipped with stainless steel appliances. Just around the corner is a convenient powder room, and beyond, two equal king bedroom suites (the "Victoria" and "Caroline" suites), each with generous walk-in closets and double-vanity baths with granite countertops. The "Victoria" bedroom suite, on the Atlantic Ocean side of the villa, has a private balcony just outside, and the "Caroline" bedroom suite, on the Magens Bay side, has its own private porch with a pergola and ocean views. On the opposite of the Great Room is the "Jamie" suite," the main-level king master suite with its own smaller full kitchen. This private suite enjoys a double view - on one side, a private balcony overlooks serene Magens Bay, and the other side has an alcove at the end of the pool deck, offering a view of the Atlantic. Villa Jamie's upper level is accessed by an interior staircase by the dining area; it leads up to the "Master Frederick" suite, the villa's second king master suite, and to a media room/home office with a full bath. The upper king master suite offers a luxurious oasis for two, with its private balcony on the ocean side and a private patio covered by a decorative pergola on the Magens Bay side, set with two chaise lounges for quiet moments. A walk-in closet and luxurious bath with marble floors and a shower overlooking the sea vista completes this lovely suite. Adjacent to the upper master suite is Villa Jamie's media room and home office, comfortably furnished with a large leather sectional which converts to a queen sofabed, perfect for children. An armoire contains cable TV and DVD player, movies to watch and CDs to play, plus an assortment of games for everyone. A corner desk offers a DSL line for your laptop and a printer/fax machine if you absolutely must do some work on vacation!
