Nancy's Description of St. Somewhere This beautifully-rendered new villa is now ready for 2008 rentals! From this new home's down-island side, an archway welcomes you into St. Somewhere's courtyard dividing its two pavilions. One long-distance look past the pool out at the sparkling panorama of majestic Magens Bay will stop you in your tracks. St. Somewhere's main pavilion on one side comprises the high-ceilinged Great Room with an open-plan kitchen, a dining area, a powder room and a shady covered verandah just off the pool, accessible via slider doors from the main pavilion. The kitchen is clad in granite countertops and handsome cabinetry, has a wine cooler, and offers almost all cookware and chef's tools you'll need to create a great meal, if the spirit moves you. The kitchen island, accented in local stonework, is set with barstools, perfect for keeping the cook company. The outdoor patio features that soothing sea vista and green hills of St. Thomas beyond; big cushioned chairs and alfresco dining make this spot a favorite. The tiled deck continues to the infinity-edge pool, set with chaise lounges for reading while working on your island tan. On the other side of the sun deck is St. Somewhere's two-story bedroom/bath pavilion, fronted by a lawn of green grass punctuated with tropical plantings and vivid flowers. Two equally-sized king suites with four-poster beds, air-conditioning and walk-in closets overlook the pool and the calming expanse of blue Magens Bay from private balconies. The upper suite, done in a delicious key lime pie color, also features its own small covered verandah which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. En suite baths are tiled and feature cool marble floors and large showers with an ocean view. St. Somwhere's polished interiors employ such artful use of light, color and pleasing choices of fabric, artwork and accessories - the decor at this villa has such elegant flair, but it's not fussy - you can be completely at ease, whiling away low-maintenance vacation days here.
